The Run For Those “Over There” is an Annual Event to bring an awareness and appreciation of our Military men and women stationed around the world. The proceeds raised this year will be donated to Operation MOMS Cookies, Inc. N.F.P. The 2nd Annual Run will be Saturday, September 18, 2010. This year there will be 2 Staging Areas, one in Chicago at the Beverly Cemetery, 12300 S. Kedzie Ave, Chicago and the other at the American Legion Post #1977, 14414 Ford Drive, New Lenox. We will be leaving the Beverly Cemetery and then picking up the bikes at the American Legion Post . MOLLY will again lead the way to the beautiful South Island Park in Wilmington for a day of tribute and honor in support of our Military Men and Women. It will be a day that includes the spirit of Patriotism and Americanism combined with community and family. Plan on joining us this year rain or shine, 2 wheels or 4 wheels….. The Festival in Wilmington will begin at 12 noon and continue until dusk as we honor the Military Service of those Past, Present and Future. This is a family friendly event.
